The com port is not a problem as that is working fine.

The only problem with the system in the video, (that is running with a Alexmos) is in the control board. It suffers too much drift and needs a lot of calibration to keep it stable.

I cant get any sense out of the last 4 versions of the firmware. After loading the latest GUI it does not communicate.

I also have a second IMU with the address mod. but if I connect it, everything stops working.

Hi Denny,

have you solved the problem with the GUI..and the COM port..?

Guys I have reposted the video.

Yes you can do anything you want with the control but the only axis that needs to be moved in reality is the tilt because you fly the camera and the model follows.

Is anyone flying one of these yet?  Does it allow a R/C control of pan and tilt while stabilized?

Thanks

Hi Denny,

i try to follow your link but it seems it's not working :

Page not Found... Sorry, there is no video here.

Either it was deleted or it never existed in the first place. Such are the mysteries of the Internet.

May you please check..

Thank you for your help.

Here's the basic pan system which is using a rotary VC that is home made with magnets from a Hard Drive. It is running in follow mode so it centers when to motion stops. shown here with 7.4 v but now with 14.8. I wish it could have been a first for the VR board but I cant get the yaw axis working yet as the codes don't work!!!!!

Would love to see a sketch of that Denny ?

Everything supported from the sandwich plate will be floating on a magnetic field....

With some remapping of the controller it can be done with just 3 coils.
